Due to continued security industry growth, we’re thrilled to be in our 18th year at Open Options. Our quest to provide true open architecture access control solutions via robust and user-friendly software and supporting hardware has resulted in impressive growth and strong partnerships with industry leaders and integrators.

One of the key ingredients to our success has always been our valued — and dedicated — team members. As we have grown, so have they, and we’re excited to announce that several have been promoted to support our sustained security industry growth. We’ve also added a new member to our ever-growing sales team. Our recent key appointments include:

Welcome Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Security Dan Cosgrove!

We’re excited to announce that Dan Cosgrove has joined the Open Options team as Regional Sales Manager for security for the Midwest United States. Dan has a wealth of sales experience with leading security companies including Brivo Systems, Red Hawk Fire & Security, Alarm Detection Systems, Simplex Grinnell, and ADT Security Services.

“I’ve heard many great things over the years about Open Options and their access control products,” says Cosgrove. “Since joining the team, I continue to be impressed with the skill sets and character of all the people I’ve met from the company. The combination of both the product — including the flexibility of Mercury hardware — and the entire Open Options team adds to my expectations of doubling the sales production coming from the North Central portion of the U.S.”

Dan has earned an MBA in Strategic Selling and Sales Management from Aurora University, a bachelor’s in marketing from North Central College, and an associate’s in accounting from the College of DuPage.

The father of three adult children Dan spends his free time skydiving, SCUBA diving, and participating in triathlons. As the Midwest Regional Sales Manager, Dan is based in his hometown area — the Chicago suburbs.
