TB 20.6 – Creating a Mantrap in DNA Fusion

Applies To: Mantraps in DNA Fusion

Topic: Creating a Mantrap with multiple doors by using simple triggers and macros.

Summary: A Mantrap is an access control system that consists of a small space and two (2) or more interlocking doors. One (1) set of the doors must close before the other doors can be opened, so that an individual is briefly “trapped” in a vestibule before clearing the second door. In the past Open Options had used a PLC to accomplish this due to the complexity of the triggers and macros required in DNA Fusion. We now have a way to create the mantrap with two (2) or more doors using mercury hardware, and a few simple triggers and macros in DNA Fusion. Requires DNA Fusion version 7.7.0.86.
