The DNA Fusion Software Maintenance and Support Agreement (SWM) offers the most economical way to receive the latest versions of DNA Fusion software. Dealers may download regular service releases and upgrades at no charge to apply at customer sites with a Software Maintenance Agreement in place. SWM's are available for both U.S. and International customers.
When you purchase a SWM, you receive the following benefits:
A customer's phone call, FAX, or e-mail will find a qualified and experienced product technician at the other end of the line. Many telephone questions can be answered immediately, and 90% of all inquiries are satisfied completely within 24 hours of the first contact. Regardless of the issue, a customer can expect a personal acknowledgment within 2 normal business hours and frequent progress reports thereafter.
Every new Open Options DNA Fusion system includes 90 days of software warranty. Register DNA Fusion within the 90 days and Open Options will extend these valuable services for the first year of ownership, all at no additional cost.
Notices of service releases and upgrades of all product releases are automatically sent to you throughout the length of the Software Maintenance and Support Agreement. This means that you are always running the latest release of our software without the need to renegotiate the cost of the product or request the new release.
You avoid delays and needless paperwork and can easily budget for the current and future releases of our products.
As a maintenance customer, you will be eligible for pre-release editions of software products for an insider’s look into upcoming features and enhancements. You also get a head start on the newest release of the product.
When you purchase a Software Maintenance and Support Agreement, you are eligible for a discount when you need to increase DNA software licenses (i.e., the number of sub controller connections and client workstations, DNA software only). The discount typically equals 5% of the new software license price.
Open Options offers many consulting, training, and implementation services to assist with your access control system growth implementation. As a maintenance customer, discounts for fee-based services are offered. You can renew the Software Maintenance and Support Agreement each year for substantially less that the cost of individual upgrades. Customers can purchase a multi-year agreement for an additional discount if paid for in advance. SWM pricing can be adjusted at the end of each year within a multi-year agreement in the event of system changes.
System users with current software maintenance agreements are able to access valuable resources and informational content on the secure web portal such as training videos, manuals and downloads.
