On-site professional services deliver the experience and knowledge of our technical professionals to the installation site to assist in deploying very large and/or complex systems. This service is intended to assist with the software and IT portions of the systems.

Open Options DNA Fusion is designed around the non-proprietary Mercury Security panels. This gives customers an option when it comes to their security management system and provides a way to change out the software without losing existing investments in field hardware.

Can I use my existing panels and field devices?
Yes! Open Options supports the SCP and EP series controllers from Mercury. In most cases, the intelligent control panels are simply flashed with the latest firmware. Additionally, most other peripherals such as card readers and electric locks will continue to function without any intervention.
Can DNA Fusion use the data from my existing system?
Absolutely! Approximately 85-90% of the system data can be converted from the LNL/RKP DB to the DNA Fusion DB using the Open Options LE Database Conversion utility.
What gets converted to the Open Options database?
The most important aspects of the system are converted including cardholder data, hardware configuration, and settings, time schedules and access levels.
There are, however, a few items that have to be converted manually such as triggers/macros, graphics, and door lock/unlock schedules. Additionally, event history from competitor systems is not converted. We work closely with our customers to ensure that no data is lost during the conversion process.
Can Open Options sync with my HR database or Active Directory for personnel data?
Yes, by using the Open Options product OpenDX, you are able to import real-time card holder information into the DNA Fusion access control system from existing HR systems, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server, or almost any other valid data source.
Does Open Options integrate with my Video Management System?
Open Options integrates with the most common video management platforms. DNA Fusion does not integrate with proprietary VMS systems, but can provide a better solution with one of our many Video Solution Partners.
How long does it take to convert my database?
Typical turnaround time for a DB conversion is approximately 3 days.
Can I run DNA Fusion in a virtual environment?
Yes! DNA Fusion will run in virtual environment (VMWare) and utilizes a soft license key instead of a USB dongle.
Is there a software warranty for DNA Fusion?
Yes! When you purchase a DNA Fusion software license, annual warranty protection is included for the first year at no charge provided you register the system within 90 days.

Open Options offers custom report creation for it's customers to fulfill reporting requirements not already included in the standard DNA Fusion system.
